Remembering the scents of grass in the mountains of Andorra, where Grandalla (daffodil) or flower of the Pyrenees, blooms in the middle of April, we produced this wine that has a very floral aroma. Made of a special blend, it retains the aroma characteristics of the vintage, without losing its personality, even increasing the feeling of balance and complexity, which makes it a unique cava.
Good release of fine bubbles, it is very pale yellow with hints of green. The prime feature of the aroma is its elegant floral notes, such as jasmine and daffodil. It is dry on palate.
Original and delicate with fruity notes and light aromas of the Pyrenean flowers and a hint of toast, which are very well balanced for a vintage cava it is. Very persistent, complex flavors and a long aftertaste.
Store in a vertical position in its case. Keep in a dry, cool and dark location. As an Gran Reserva, I recommend serving it at between 5-9 ºC
Delicious with seafood and rice, Deli rice and ham. Try it with foie, tender veal or grilled sea bass. Prawns and angler fish. Just release your imagination. Bacon, smallporc, or scallops, as well as other seafood. Also with smoked meat or fish. I enjoy it as an appetizer and with a dessert. And if not on any occasion, in a good company.
Special because we only have 1,500 bottles today. Special because of the label of tin.
Special because all the processes are done by hand.
Grandalla is special because its name means the flower of the Pyrenees.
Always goes with its carton.
